When words can’t describe the beauty of a day, there are pictures.
I was honored to second shoot this beautiful wedding at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in downtown St. Augustine.

Rivers and Roads
Rivers till I reach you
Lyrics from the Head and the Heart
So I do not typically post personal things on my photography blog, but taking a month off last summer and driving cross-country calls for one. We had one month to explore our big beautiful country. Oh, what a beautiful country it is! Our starting location was St. Augustine, Florida and the places we stopped were: Columbus (GA), Atlanta, St. Louis, Denver, Salt Lake City (UT), Lake Tahoe (CA) Monterey (CA), Big Sur, Malibu, Manhatten Beach, San Diego, and finally the Grand Canyon.
I will never forget all of the kindness that was showed to us along the way as friends and family of friends hosted us.
Our God is the most amazing artist and seeing only a tiny portion of His creation, all I can say is that I am in awe of his glory.
I Loved everything about this wedding at the Ribault Club in Fort George Island, Florida. I was able to second shoot for Jenna Alexander and here are a few of my favorites.
Florida Springs and this senior session are what my dreams are made of. Enjoy this beauty!
Since living in Kennebunkport Maine, I have been dreaming of photographing someone down by the sea. For some reason, the light here is so beautiful and soft as it sets behind the rocky coast! My sister-in-law came to visit and that meant she was my model. Kelsie has such a beautiful heart and face and I could not wait to take pictures of her. If I got a dollar for every person that told me they are not photogenic, I would be rich. ☺ Secretly, I kind of like it when people tell me this because they seem to take direction well and they are always happily surprised that they can take great pictures.
I am very comfortable taking pictures of others, but as soon as I get in front of the camera, I feel vulnerable…… its good for me to feel this because that is how most people feel. I think that half the battle of being a photographer is making people feel comfortable and beautiful and I am honored that they trust me to do that. I love my job and my sister-in-law.
Kelsie, you are so photogenic and beautiful! Xoxo
