There is something so freeing about only having one roll of film! It makes me slooooow down and take the time to compose the shot I want and there is something quite magical about the whole process. Goodness, I am just so impressed with the tonal range of film and how it can handle harsh sunlight. Here is a fun little shoot I had with with Sarah from Sarahdipity Photos .
A single word that I am drawing inspiration from for the year is #movement. I want to capture movement. Not movement that is forced, but movement that happens organically and movement from the environment like the wind and the sea. It makes me more of an observer which I like.

And the sun even came out to play which made us forget the cold. We walked the property of Keisel Park in Auburn which offered such a great backdrop. Ashley’s roots go deep in Alabama and her grandmother’s family lived in the house on the property which is why she chose to have her session there.
